Item is just what I wanted.

First, and this is VERY important: these are NOT used to pick up a Veh / RV. That is not what they are designed to do. You need a regular jack to lift the load. That said, I used a 2 ton floor jack to pick up my boat tailor rear axle. Then on a stable surface, I put one under the axle on each side and lowered the trailer onto them. This keeps the weight off the tires and wheel bearings.
