Amazing modern technology reveals the subtlties of the most recorded and early tecnologies in organ tone creation.
The only fair comparison to competitors, including Hammond, is that there is no comparison. The Nord product is simply better developed, The tactile controlls are not cheap data incrementors, rather controls that are reminiscent of the original products it emulates. There is an immediate quality feel to the playing surface. The keybed, effect and tonal forming controls that are also in the same physical locations as the original instrument. Having played others' products, it is simply not the same.. Without going on and on about features readers can absorb through published materials, let's just say that the presets and manual, or Live control are outsanding. I would be amazed if anyone in a blind test would choose another.
