Will they last forever? Ask me much later.
Can't say much. Ask again in a year or two. So far, the laces seem well made. I am tempted to wax them to add more body.

YiQuan, good book
Like all books about Kung Fu, the secret lies in practice. This is a good book, well written, and can be used to learn Yiquan. I have practiced for years and found this book to vary only slightly and in minor details from what my Sifu, Y.C Wong taught me. I recommend the clearly written book to anyone interested in the subject.

Too shallow a dive
0 of 1 found this helpful I don't know about Franco's other books, but as a martial artist I found this one to be fairly useless. The basic premise could be expressed in a few words: "Hit your opponent before he hits you." The rest of the book contains very basic boxing moves. Perhaps Franco is a highly effective fighter, but I wish he'd elucidated some deeper wisdom.
For intelligent, sophisticated information regarding violence and fighting I would highly recommend, "Facing Violence" by Rory Miller.
