German Power Metal at its finest
2 of 2 found this helpful Powerwolf blends dark religious themes with mythical midnight creatures and a heavy dose of Helloween influence to create some great traditional power metal. The spooky opening intro track leads to "Sanctified with Dynamite" a tour de force that even my kids love singing along to. Anyone looking for something new and are into thrash/power metal should definitely sink their fangs into POWERWOLF.

Gothic power thrash at its finest!
2 of 2 found this helpful Powerwolf rips you in half with its gothic metal fangs on Preachers of the Night. From the blistering opening track "Amen and Attack" you get the sense that you are in for a wild ride of good vs. evil. Dark religious themes mix with mythical creatures to bring you a brutal cocktail of power thrash riffs, thunderous double bass drumming, ominous vocals and soaring guitar solos. If you were wondering what Helloween would sound like with Type O Negative's Peter Steele at the helm, here you have it! HORNS UP!

KISS breaks through into the mainstream with Dressed to Kill
1 of 1 found this helpful KISS is undeniably one of the greatest American hard rock bands of all time. Already on their third album in less than two years, KISS hits their stride with anthemic party rock staple "Rock n Roll All Nite". A very punchy and more poppy record than their previous two efforts, KISS goes for the jugular with raunchy tunes like "Room Service" and "Ladies in Waiting" This album would lead to their legendary live record "Alive!" which would end up cementing KISS in rock n roll lore as the ultimate live experience. No KISS fan should be without Dressed to Kill!
