repair soles ok at best
base is only 0.031 in thick, less than 1 millimeter, to the top of the pattern it is 0.115 thick, less than 4 mm.
shows considerable wear after 30 miles on a set of new balance 2040v2
if the base was 3 mm thick this would be a good buy
they are NOT SELF STICKING use shoe goo AND rough up the bond side of the soles
to remove the mold release

bernina no 18 foot
The REAL bernina feet are a world better than the crude junk from china. I have both.
the only problem with the real bernina foot is some of them have very sharp folds where
they are formed at the bottom on the adjustable prong. They will break. I have some of those also,
some dealers have the little replacement part. For similar cost do NOT buy the chinese junk,
they are not deburred on the bottom and the prongs look like they were filed, NOT formed,
by a blind person.
