Jinhao 15 fountain pen for use as a daily writing instrument.
I prefer writing with a constant width line and I have been using a fountain pen every day
since Sept of 1957. I have gone through a lot of pens. I just started within the last year
experimenting with lower priced pens just for fun.
I also have been experimenting with using inkjet ink and using various techniques to
adjust the viscosity to that needed by different pens.
The Jinhao 15 uses HP quality inkjet ink without requiring an adjustment for the paper
that use daily. It writes without skipping and does not dry out or need additional work
to start writing again after sitting for nearly a day on the desk.
I did not have to do any tuning on the nib. I prefer a hooded nib and I do not need a
flexible nib. I recommend this pen to anyone that wants a general all around pen for
daily use without fancy calligraphy requirements. I am using the fine (0.50mm) nib.

Not a real PEM nut and will not work well where used.
PEM is a trademark of Penn Engineering. The CLS-M3-0 is a knock off and the
nut will not lock in place well enough to hold with any force applied. The real
PEM nut has a L-shaped lip for holding the metal plate when cold formed with
pressure.
Better to go with the real Penn Engineering nut.
