Not the right viewing angle

I was hoping this keyboard would be the same to an early model for the bigger IPad, just smaller. The problem that I found with the keyboard is that the angle at which the IPad mini sits does not provide a comfortable viewing angle. The IPad sits up too straight, this means that one has to push the gadget away to get a good view. Might not sound like a big deal, but it is when dealing with a small setup. At first, the whole keyboard felt a little chunky, but one should remember that this device cannot shrink in all dimensions. It is no thicker than the bigger model, but I believe it is not thinner either.
