I fell in love with The Lost Whale
Just loved this compelling true story about a lost, very social young orca inhabiting Nootka Sound, British Columbia. Delightful exciting account of the toddler whale’s interactions with humans, the conflicting emotions and perspectives of local residents, native people, scientists, and governmental agents, regarding the safety of the whale and his new found human friendships, and the controversial plans of officials to attempt either reuniting Luna with his pod or taking him into captivity. Mystery escalates into familiarity then popularity, publicity and controversy, with a friendly, engaging puppy-like whale at the center of it all! A great book to introduce teens to the complexities of the enjoyment of observing nature mixed with the controversies of human involvement with a wild creature. Great summer read!

Compelling, heartwarming true story of a baby orca who interacted with the people of Nootka Sound, British Columbia!

Having read the book "The Lost Whale: The True Story of an Orca Named Luna," by Parfit & Chisholm, it was so exciting to see this documentary of the whole story, complete with wonderful, real video of the center of the whole story, Luna, a lost baby orca interacting with the people of Nootka Sound, British Columbia! It was powerful and moving to see video and interviews of the people and little whale at the heart of a controversy over what was in the best interest of the lost whale and the people of the community, whose interactions with Luna were increasing. No spoilers here! You have to watch it to see what happens! Highly recommended!

Excellent protection - looks nice too!
Enjoying use of this case already! Being me, I have already dropped my phone once onto hardwood flooring - no problems and no damage to the case. Yes, thumbs up on this case! Love the style and color as well - looks great!
