Slow acting, not as economical as expected, and left a whitish ring around pool

Disappointed. Thought I found a good bargain but no. It smells very very strong so you must be careful, but strangely it took many hours to take effect and left a white residue ring around the whole pool and I went through the whole 50 lbs quite fast, based on constant chlorine testing of levels. So I don't feel it saved me money in the end and I bought it for $150. The white residue has not come off several weeks after I stopped applying this and I have been using regular liquid chlorine from walmart since, only 14 gallons needed. It has worked better, lasted longer than this, though it is a hassle to buy, but I will. The container bucket is very good compared to products I've liked better, but it is the chemical that really matters.

very accurate and reliable, battery lasts forever. Already have one and got this one as a backup and for travel, immediately tested it against my main one and it was right on as I expected. The strips are a bit pricey unless you get them from your insurance provider.
