Increase Tremolo channel dB with a flick of the wrist
Remove the "tone suck" from any Blackface/Silverface amp circuit.
Easy to install; instant results. Complete instructions; already assembled with ground wire and resistor.
At the terminals of the original 50k RA tremolo intensity pot, unsolder the ground wire, yellow wire and brown wire and swap out pots. With new pot installed, solder yellow wire and brown wire according to included directions and photograph. No need to re-solder original ground wire. Secure it from accidentally touching the rectifier B+ (hot) lead, and you're done.

Basic necessity for safe bench-testing and electronic repairs
1 of 1 found this helpful Strong outer case that can be straightened out after dents incurred during shipping (as was mine). Simple, solid construction; common, quality U.S.A. parts (for 1970s). A low-tech easily serviceable and economical appliance.
An outer part was also broken during shipment and I was able to buy the new part for 25¢ and install it. Access to the inside of the power supply is very easy because the top and side panels are all removable separately.
This is an isolated variable output AC power source with amp (1 or 3) and voltage (0~150) analog meters. Basically, it has an on/off switch and an adjustable transformer controlled by a voltage-level dial that isolates the user electrically from the AC mains current flowing through a larger transformer.
It has an outlet connected directly to the mains input (from the wall socket) for other test equipment, and another isolated outlet for the equipment being tested or repaired. The isolated output is adjustable from 0~150vac.
By watching the meters during power-up, it is possible to determine whether or not the device being tested is operating properly (in terms of its power-section). Even the ground of the power supply is isolated.
