Essential horror reading--but only Berkley version with metallic silver shine on front cover!
This is a really good, spooky horror novel. Essential reading! Be sure to get the paperback Berkley version with the silver shine on the cover (1986 and earlier; I think the 1987 had no metallic shine), because it makes you say "Shadowland" differently, with it's artistic lettering (the art on the cover gives the story more atmosphere; the other book covers are boring! You want bang for your buck and so the cover artwork is important).
