Love this machine
1 of 1 found this helpful I was a barista for over five years (back when there was nothing automated about Starbucks) and tend to be somewhat wary of smaller espresso machines, but when I was visiting a friend back in New York and tried hers, I was amazed. She inherited the machine after her daughter graduated college and had no idea how it worked. It only took about 30 seconds for me to figure it out, without directions (OK give me five minutes and I can figure out any espresso machine, it's a gift). Let's just say as soon as I got home I bought one. I am very particular about my espresso—I don't drink brewed coffee—and this was as close to perfect as you can get. The disposable pods sort of bother me, environmentally—I started refilling them—but the taste of the espresso also depends on the kind of coffee you buy. Some of them taste very bland and watery, especially when you are buying non-Nespresso brands. I recommend the ristretto. I still use my DeLonghi machine, but this little number is great when you're in a hurry.
