Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Premium Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4/PS4

Could have deeper bass

Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying this headset. The features make it perfect: With the Wireless connectivity, I have more freedom of motion between controller and headset (I'm not limited to the cord length), which allows me to set the controller aside when watching videos. With the Bluetooth® connectivity, I can listen to my own off-console music and still hear game audio! This also allows me to answer and make calls while in game or elsewhere. With a separation of game audio and console player communication, I can control the volume of each, independently, allowing for better game play. Likewise, controlling the Bluetooth volume via device allows for further immersion (when listening to music) and better communication (while on calls). The muffs are comfortable (even for a big head like mine) and fit snugly around my glasses (a wide-armed, plastic frame). My only issue is sound. While the games sound great (*hint: using the "Superhearing" mode is fantastic in FPS games, but denigrates audio sufficiently (treble is cranked while bass is subdued)), the audio isn't as deep as I'd like. My first headset was a PDP Afterglow LVL 3 Wired Stereo Headset. THIS has some bass to it. But, I can take the sacrifice of some bass for all the features the TB headset gives me. Overall, it's comfortable and allows for a lot of freedom and versatility when it comes to listening to different sources of audio at once.
