  This auction was for the original manual for one of my mid-1970's Teac tape decks. It was in great condition for being about fifty years old, from a wonderful seller who is a credit to ebay. The manual was in a page protector, then packed in a heavy cardboard flat with enough tape it may have been watertight. Good communication, good price, packed well, shipped promptly.   I am pleased that you are happy witht he brooch. As far as the shipping price goes, unfortunately, eBay takes something like 13.5% off the top of my listed shipping price as part of thier selling fees. That left me with less that $6.50 to purchase a shipping envelope and pay for USPS shipping. I don`t think a lot of buyers know this. My apologies, but this is something I have no control over.
