2 of 2 found this helpful This is my second one (my 2009 model lasted 8 years) and I'm very pleased with this Apple product. Is it on the expensive side? Yes. But the old saying is true, that "you get what you pay for."

This lens is super sharp and balances well on the A7R. I use it mostly for close-ups of flowers and nature, but it is also very good for portraits.
