Great for creating a quick demo or your masterpiece
I bought this based on good reviews, plus the very reasonable price. I was able to get up and running quickly and within an hour had laid down a basic four-track recording of one of my grooves. The controls are intuitive, and I found the Cubase software to be surprisingly easy to use (contrary to some of the reviews I had read). Overall I'm very happy, I recommend this to anyone who wants to lay down some ideas quickly, easily, and with good quality.

An excellent choice for young geologists
2 of 2 found this helpful My 6 year old daughter has become very interested in rocks over the past six months, and to keep this interest alive I wanted to find a good introductory book that we could read together. This book fits the bill perfectly, it is not too long, but long enough to cover all the major types of rocks and minerals, and the pictures are great. We've already been able to identify some of the rocks she found, and every time we go out for a walk we enjoy looking for new additions to her collection. There are some fun projects described as well, we've already built a box for her collection based on one in the book.
I highly recommend this book for any budding geologist. It is an exellent introduction to the fascinating world of rocks and minerals, and will give anyone (even adults) an appreciation for this earth we walk around on every day.
