Best Anna Pigeon novel so far.
Nevada Barr uses her word skills to paint a compelling picture of those who fight wilderness fires. I felt as though as I was trying to survive the firestorm along with the book's characters. It was thrilling and frightening at the same time. I'm reading the series in order and so far this is the best Anna Pigeon novel so far!

Makes History Come Alive!
Interesting History of Fort Jefferson. I've really enjoyed this book and it is a great value.
