"Shocked" at how nice this is for the price
3 of 3 found this helpful Really amazingly inexpensive and so far very reliable product. The sound and light show should be enough to frighten off an animal or person.
I have not figured out of there is any kind of low-battery indicator, but it charges nicely with the included cable, which has an indicator of when it's fully charged. I am a little worried about the prongs, as other reviewers state, but at this price, if they break I'd get another one without complaint.

Was very happy to find some of these great bulbs
Having had some of these for a decade before one failed, I was eager to get some replacements until the Xiden ban on glass and metal bulbs came though. I tried some plastic LEDs, being a big advocate of LED lighting in general, but multiple brands did not dim well, and the light was too cool and harsh. There is no technology yet that can match the warm-spectrum glow like these babies at low-power/high-oscillation.
