Compact and Easty to Use - Durable

Fantastic. Solid and well made. Built to last a long time. Perfect grind for Turkish coffee. Now that I don't have to rely on pre-packaged ground coffee, I'm free to experiment to create my own mixture of beans. Update Feb 2018: Still working perfectly. Update May 2019. Still working perfectly. Update September 2021. Still working perfectly! Update 2024: Still works perfectly!!!!

Indian Made ASPs - Serviceable But Not Great

ASP DE’s have been my blade of choice for some time – ever since I left the much more expensive world of cartridges. A much better shave than cartridges. Smooth -- blade “glides” across my face. Close even shave. 7 days of shaves from a single blade. Each shave 3 passes – down, sideways, and up. Couldn’t really do that with a cartridge. Nicks are pretty much a thing of the past. Merkur 34C razor. Average beard. With the shift of production to India, I gave the new blades a try. Same regime – 7 days on a single blade. 3 passes each shave. Noticeable difference. Less “glide” during a shave. Wife noticed some skin irritation. Nothing major, though. Blades shave close. Are serviceable. But I find the Russian-made ASPs more comfortable and enjoyable. Shaving is a highly personal experience . Yours may differ from mine. One final note - this review in on the product not the seller - who has no control over production of the blades.

Great Shave

THIS REVIEW RELATES TO BLADES MANUFACTURED IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION. Sharpness: Not too aggressive a blade but still a close shave. Durability: Lasts about 1 week (3 passes each shave), though I've pushed it beyond. Good quality. Smooth shave. Update 2024 - Still my favorite DE blade.
