Bobby Bland... Here's the Man!!!
This is a killer record. It's missing a few awesome tunes, like "honey child," and "black night," but overall it's solid.

Hilarious banter on the later 50's tracks
This is a totally killer recording. The alternate take of "blue midnight" has one of the most amazing introductions ever recorded. It's haunting to say the least. Also, the banter between walter and the engineer on the later tracks is hilarious. "This mic is a bitch!!!" "Well god dammit, walter, try it out first, then complain about it! You don't tell somebody you're gonna kill somebody and then do it. Kill them, then say something about it." "Ha ha ha, I ain't trying to kill nobody..." - Classic.

Yes is "good"
This dvd is "good." They play some killer tunes from everything up till close to the edge, and there's some heavy "close" material. however, they skip siberian khatru (bummer). I'd also like to see South side of the sky performed, but that's life. I don't understand why they didn't throw khatru or heart of the sunrise on here, and instead put that joker song where howe plays solo acoustic guitar (can't remember the title.) I mean, that's a killer song, but its not like that was a huge draw. Another downside is there's no Bruford on here, just Alan White (who dumbs down just about everything of Bruford's that he can't cop.) However, the guy filming this mess stayed smart and kept on wakeman and howe about 90% of the time. Howe is sick. All the guys, save white, overplay everything and start improvising mid-song. It's ridiculous at some points when anderson is trying to sing and howe is taking a lead over his vocal melody. regardless, its a good representation of the band at their nigh-prime. "good" overall.
