Too many variations of a theme- Don't blame the supplier!
Unfortunately this unit can not be fitted to my car due to a slight variation in connector design. This can be a problem with such parts when the car manufacturer decides to use a slight variation from the norm and fails to pass it on to replacement part suppliers. The item then becomes very much an "in house purchase" at a very inflated price!
Not much any can do under these circumstances except to keep looking...
With Vauxhall vehicles it is also advisable to look under Opel to check for variations of a theme!
Both use the same unit "front end" but can have differing connectors as in my case
