Remarkable Documentary
I'm a collector of PBS documentaries, especially Ken Burns, but I avoided this one for a while, thinking, how engaging is learning about national parks? I ONLY purchased this to basically help complete my Ken Burns collection. Ten minutes into the documentary, I could not believe that I had put this purchase off for as long as I had. The National Parks: America's Best Idea, is so good, I bought a second copy to give away as a gift. The narrating and the trove of information--fascinating information--is as amazing as the breathtaking cinematography.
The National Parks is a remarkable documentary that EVERY American needs in their home library.

A great installment in a great series
I'm 20 years late to the show, but better late than never, right? My daughter was/is a fan of the Harry Potter series and has finely convinced me to sit down and watch them all...from the beginning. I just finished Prisoner of Azkaban, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm truly kicking myself for not having shared these wonderfully magical Harry Potter moments with her so many moons ago, but again, better late than never.
I will not delve into the film itself to avoid spoilers. I'll just say, I recommend watching it (the whole series). Maybe I was turned off initially--all those years ago--thinking it was more of a kids thing and it is to a degree but still very captivating and fun to watch as an adult, too.
