I refuted his claim (with photos of the actual listing, and of the wrong item I received), and then he said he would waive the fee if I returned it. In the end, I decided it was more trouble to return the item (eye gel and not the eye cream I thought I was purchasing), because it is more trouble to return it than to keep it.

I quote from the FedeX tracking: “Dropped off at FedEx OnSite-WALGREENS 10365 Package received after final location pickup has occurred. Scheduled for pickup next business day.” FedX did not get the package until Tuesday.

Shoes were as described, photos were helpful for my decision, showing no appreciable wear. This is a good brand of shoe, the for the condition was a very good value. I like the color of them, and wanted white shoes for the summer, because I don’t want my feet as hot as with black shoes.
