Not sure how long it will last as it is made of soft material that is easy to scrape away during the sharpening process

Nice pens, but...
Theses pens are of good quality & design, but unless you are using the correct paper the ink will bleed quite a bit due to the fact that they dispense A LOT of ink. Writing or drawing faster will not prevent this either.
The other negative is the fact that the end cap cannot be stored on the butt of the pen as the butt end is too narrow. Sounds dumb, but what's the first thing you automatically do when you take the cap off an ink pen? Here's the answer: you put it on the butt end of the pen...
That being said, they are sturdy & seem to be well built, but unless you are specifically using the correct paper & don't misplace the end caps I would pass.
