Heavy Duty
Well-built connector with good tight contact (not all that common with BNC connectors).

Great Rig
I built a DX-60 when I was 12 (1974) and used it for years - I still have it. It is a very capable radio. I remember well the excitement of my first QSL with the DX-60 and a home-made inverted-V antenna...Oslo, Norway from Stillwater, Oklahoma on 80 meters! If you can find the Heathkit VFO, you will have a great set for CW and AM. A 100W light bulb makes a great dummy load for practicing morse. This radio works well with a variety of long wire and trap antennas.
You need to have crystals or a VFO in order to put this set into operation. You will be happiest if you can find the Heathkit VFO, as that will give you the ability to tune to any freq on the bands.
