NEC chipset for USB 2.0
The ports have some parts different than of the standard USB 2.0 and I do not know what they do (same with the the round connector on top). However, I use the USB part of them without problems. The card was recognized by Windows 7 and works flawlessly. I bought it mainly because of the NEC chipset and the molex power plug that feeds extra current in the ports, so they can be used by USB devices that draw more current.
