A must for those who grind daily
I got this x-lock grinder with a paddle switch for a steal. It does not accept the traditional wheels, but they are readily available at the big box home improvement stores or online for pretty cheap. I like the ease of swapping out wheels and the x-lock holds in the blade pretty secure. I had a few corded paddle switch grinders before this, so that felt very normal to me. The brake system on this is really cool, it stops right away after shutting the grinder off, no spinning like the other grinders. I already have other 18v Makita tools, so buying the bare tool was a must. I am thinking of adding another to my tools to keep for cutting or for a flap disk.
