Stays hot, stays cold.

1 of 1 found this helpful Darn good camera. Only flaw I can see is that the battery/sd bay door tends to break. This was not the case with this camera, but if it did, a rubber band is an easy fix. I've owned two of these before, both with broken doors, and I love them. The first was broken at my fault by jamming a broken SD card into it and braking a pin and the second was broken on a rafting trip. Basically, the reason I have owned three is not a comment against it's quality, it's for it. I've taken S550's to Greece, to the wilds of Maine's Allagash, and many a motorcycle trip through country and city. Great camera. Cheap battery. I have six batteries and multiple six gig cards, but this is the only camera I need.
