Wonderful film, different and dark, a thoroughly entertaining watch.
A slightly dark film about grwoing up in the 1990?s in the midlands. Well filmed and with interesting charachtes it portrays the life of two neighbouring boys growing up and the different lives they have. Gavin and Romeo are neighbours when Gavin gets a beating while out walking from two lads, Romeo steps in and fights to protect Gavin, ending up on the brunt of the battle. Morrell, a man looking on steps in to help and befreiends the two boys. Romeo lives with his mum and sister and his estranged father returns onto the scene to Romeos disgust. Morell, an odd charachter takes a shine to Romeos sister and when Gavin plays a joke upon Moreel to make him look stupid in fromt of her,he turns increasingly violent and predates upon the boys. The saviour of the day proves that blood in thicker than water and sees away Morrell.
