Gives a workstation a second chance if the mainboard is all it needs.
These boards fit some of the less expensive "Business" class systems from Dell (Vostro 230). We have over 50 of these out at various clients. We have experienced several board failures due to various reasons. One took a lightning hit and lost the on board NIC. We just replace the board and various related components to ensure reliability. They are a bit outdated, but still serviceable. There is a price point where it becomes more cost effective to replace the system, rather than swap out a board, cpu, etc. There are a few reliable suppliers that seem to have a decent supply of these boards at reasonable cost. It's older technology, limited cpu choices and limited memory capacity. In another year or so, we would start to replace the workstation, rather than repair it due to the almost obsolete hardware options.

    Stable Modules and well constructed!
Haven't had one bad module yet. I have close to 100 of these memory modules and not one has failed the latest MemTest86 from PassMark. Especially noteworthy is there were no "Hammer Flip Warnings." in all of these chips. That error message could be an indicator of poorly constructed modules or compatibility issues. You can look up the details of that error on the PassMark site. I have found these to be compatible with a good number of slightly older systems. Great for conversions or upgrades to a 64 bit OS. 16GB of memory is about the sweet spot for a Win10 Pro based system. It isn't the fasted memory around, but reliability and stability is worth more when dealing with mission critical applications and data. I have been using these in a few dozen Dell Optiplex 9020 systems running i7 cpu's after a clean install of Windows 10 X64. Install an SSD alongside these memory modules and it breathes new life into systems. They are definitely 1.5V modules and not 1.35V. Never the less, a few systems that specify 1.35V Modules are running just fine with these 1.5V sticks. As a rule, I will test every batch of memory as it arrives, in a known good system dedicated for that purpose. I let the test run a minimum of 4 Passes. Need an upgrade? These will usually play well with other module pairs. Grab these while you can.
