Intuit TurboTax
Because of the frequent changes in the tax laws, for several years now I have no longer been able to do my taxes manually, but have come to rely on TurboTax to help me do the job. Comments:
Good value if you can afford to wait until after the filing date, when prices for this otherwise expensive program drop radically.
Easy to install and get the necessary updates on the tax laws which change so frequently even TurboTax cannot produce an up-to-date version on release of the software.
Easy to use, EXCEPT it is obviously not intended primarily for overseas filers based on the fact thtat obtaining the overseas income deduction is far from obvious, this in spite of my several letters over the years trying to explain our difficulties and pleading for easing this procedure.
