Great Value, even though a couple of included parts did not fit my Echo HC-1600.
Great value, even though for my Echo HC-1600 the rubber fuel tank grommet was too large and the air filter was not correct. The Echo had been sitting for ten years and with the fuel tank cleaned out, fresh fuel, and this kit (with the additional purchase locally of the correct rubber fuel tank grommet) the Echo started right up and made quick work of a very overgrown fence line. I still need to fine tune to adjustment screws. Great value, especially with the two extra fuel filters and two extra primer bulbs.

Worthwhile to repair Echo gas hedge trimmer
Tried a cheap knock-off carburetor first. It worked okay for a week or so, then started flooding and wouldn't start. Got this OEM carb at a great price and it works flawlessly. The cheap knock-off carburetor kit did come with the gaskets, cheap spark plug, air filter (which didn't fit my Echo HC-1600), extra fuel filters, extra primer bulbs, fuel lines, and the fuel tank grommet, so it was worthwhile getting all that for the price, anyway. Remember that this Zama carb does NOT come with any gaskets or the other stuff. Anyway, the carb is very easy to install, and this way is a lot cheaper than taking to a dealer or buying a new gas hedge trimmer. My old Echo HC-1600 had been sitting at least 10, maybe 15 years and the fuel lines and tank grommet were rotten. Put the new fuel lines, tank grommet, spark plug, and carb on, and it ran like a champ. I did put a little motor oil in the spark plug hole and pulled the started rope a few times to oil the piston rings.
