These Are Not Fall Colors by Lync (CD, Oct-2005, K Records (USA))

Amazing album
One of the best bands that created the punk/emo sound. This sounds nothing like the many emo bands that plagued the airwaves of the early 2000s. It sounds sincere, urgent, and raw while lacking the melodrama of what hit the mainstream. The songs are loose and reckless at times and tight and exact.

Jaks Rock!
Out of the cellar of The Lab in Ann Arbor comes the greatest of all punk bands. With hints of The Birthday Party, Jesus Lizard, and Nation of Ulysses your teeth will rattle.

Not as Exciting as Their First Album.
Another example of a sophomore slump if it was not their third album. The mix is questionable and every weakness of the singer is exposed as her voice is brought too much to the forefront. And at time it is painful to hear where the vocals fall.short in range or.intensity. The songs are rudimentary and bland with few surprises in the song arrangments. I really like this band but this is not good place to start. "Past Worn Searching" is a far superior album.
