Fortunately bought 2.
Needed a transformer, with quick delivery, for a homemade TV antenna. Since got 2 for about the same price as 1 from other suppliers, bought these to have a spare. When I tried to hook the 1st one to my antenna, one of the spade lugs slipped off the wire. What I found was the wire in the "tails" appeared to only be 2-3 strands (or if more, they broke off in the spade). Tried soldering the spade back on, but it seemed to be of a metal that will not take solder. And as most will know, trying to solder a larger piece of metal to a few strands of wire is very difficult to begin with. The "tail" insulation began to melt. So, tried crimping my won lug on, but was unsure of the reliability of the crimp with only a couple wire strands and with possibly "cooked" plastic coating on them. So I hooked up the 2nd one. It worked, but I was very cautious about tugging on the lug. Since this antenna will be mounted in my attic and see fairly extreme temperature swings, I will probably buy an RCA (or other name brand) transformer before I install the antenna in the attic. I gave this 3 stars because, having 2 transformers, I completed my antenna tests. If I had just received one (the 1st one), I would have given it 1 star. If just the 2nd, maybe 5 stars. Bottom line, I do not recommend these. Buy at you own risk.
