Excellent series

This series of 5 books chronicles the Canadian First Army in Northwest Europe from D-Day to the end of the war. What makes it particularly valuable is its heavy use of primary documents like regimental war diaries. Historian Terry Copp, one of the authors, is an exceptional military historian. I highly recommend this book and the other four - Caen, Falaise, The Scheldt, and Victory.
