Great for the beginner with a new layout

I've been a railfan for years, and even acquired a couple of locomotives here and there, but never kept a set up because the old style track requires more care, installation, and maintenance. Fastrack is great because you can set up a track with fairly realistic road bed, ties, and track, all at once. It's a lot of fun!

Great smi-scale locomotive

While not quite up to the same cool standards as Lionchief Plus (speed control, for example), what it lacks in electronics it makes up for in details -- and the semi scale size makes it a great compliment to larger rolling stock. I'm really enjoying this locomotive.
