Good investment.
This is my first mechanical keyboard and I am highly satisfied. The Romer G keys are satisfying and stable to use, I love how solid it feels when I type, I love the weight, I love the reinforced connection on the cord -- I was looking for a professional, dependable mechanical keyboard, and as long as everyone else agrees this ringing is acceptable I guess I’ve found it.
Yes, tapping on the case, and certain isolated keypresses, will illicit an ominous metallic ringing not unlike something you might hear in perhaps a slower-paced horror movie. Having done a bit of research it seems this ringing is present in some if not most other mechanical keyboards and honestly, its barely audible after a day or so of typing but for those who have never used a mechanical keyboard before (like me) it might take some getting used to.
