Invicta Reserve 52mm Venom Hybrid Swiss Quartz Chronograph Master Calendar Watch

Very nice, solid watch but backing plate may cause skin irritation for some users
This watch is of excellent build quality and has a very solid feel to it. The colors and materials are excellent and the integrated calendar functionality is very useful. The watch is quite heavy which takes a little getting used to, but is not a problem overall. The only drawback that prevents this watch from getting a five star rating is that the backing plate on the watch body that is in contact with your skin appears to have been stamped / etched with an ink that contains nickel or a similar metal. - Therefore, if you're someone with skin sensitive to those materials, a rash can develop when perspiration reacts with the ink on the backing plate. The rash diminished once the ink wore off of the metal in places, and I was able to fully correct the problem by removing the backing plate and placing a piece of clear headlight lens repair tape over its area to prevent further direct contact with the skin. This however will not be an issue for someone who has no allergies. The main flaw is Invicta using ink / other metal etching chemicals in a part of the watch in direct contact with the user's skin that is able to react with sweat and thus leach off of the metal and into the person's skin and cause irritation. I've never had this problem on any of the other watches I own, two of which are also Invictas.

Nice Replica Model
It is a very nicely detailed replica Boeing 707-300 E-3B Sentry AWACS 1:200 scale model; it looks good on display on a desk or shelf. Do note that primarily only the wings are made of die-cast aluminum metal, most of the model is made of plastic so it is somewhat fragile.
