I like the fact that it also hangs.
I needed this thermometer in order to recalibrate my oven's temperature display. The oven display was stating 400 and the thermometer was stating 375. In other words, my oven was cooking 25 degrees cooler than it was saying.

Quality RUBBER -- NOT Plastic!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful This rubber-type was made years ago and is extremely hard to find today because Rubbermaid went plastic!!! I'm sorry but, in my opinion, plastic drain boards do not work well on the countertop when the dish drain is full of dishes -- the board slides all over the place -- just one more thing to add to life's "unnecessary stress" list. Rubbermaid, please go back to old school rubber drain boards--the folks back then knew what they were talkin' about!!!
