The Shack

This book is an excellent read for every Christian, AND every non-Christian. It will rock your boat. I recommend it to everyone who questions (or even 'loathes') what we think of as "religion" (as did Jesus the Christ, the Son of God) and knows, just knows, there is much more to loving and being loved by the Creator God than what we get from our traditions of men. It's for anyone and everyone who has ever felt fenced in or weighted down by those traditions of men. Helps answer the hardest questions posed to humankind. While it is a work of fiction, it can change your life in our temporal world, and the far more important eternal life. Let go and let God!

Highly inspirational devotion

I loved this book. I am so inspired by the deep faith of a woman so committed to her family no matter their circumstances. June Carter Cash is my hero(ine)! An imperfect family who repeatedly rises above their human frailties, and, in the end, run the good race. Well-written, a truly inspiring "devotional" based on real life people who have charmed us for decades, and will always do so. Unconditional love lives here. It's all good!
