Extremely wide angle, full-frame lens.
At f/ 4.5, not the fastest lens, but has reasonably good sharpness to the corners and does not seem to suffer from chromatic aberration. Care needs to be taken in daylight, as images close to or including the sun may produce halos or artifacts which are typical with nearly all ultra-wide angle lenses.

Very Good Book for Understanding the Constelstions Seen Below the Equator
I travel far south often, and I particularly ejnoy the view of the Southen Cross, as well as the Magelantic Clouds.. Lot of great clusters and nebula not viiewable from northen llatitudes..
