Clean water

We had some trouble with our water well and some damage to the old steel casing. Now we get some occasional small cave-ins that carry some dirt in the water and also some iron from an iron bacteria infection (dirty well cleaning equipment introduced it). The problem isn't serious, but needs attention. I treat the well with chlorine about once a week to be sure we're keeping the iron bacteria out (they are not toxic to humans, but damage the metal and introduce a bad taste, especially in coffee). But the cloudiness and some small particles still come at times. This filter keeps it all out beautifully and has been lasting over six weeks always, I go longer at times.
