Not a direct replacememt
Extended length is correct but not compressed length. Could not use even though I ordered the exact reference used on my application.

Will not work on Silverado
I had a knock sensor code on one bank in my 2005 Silverado 2500HD and decided to change both sensors. For a day, no check engine light. Then, it came on and both knock sensors were showing low voltage this time (before was only 1)! I checked connections and wires. All ok. I took out the new knock sensors and measured the AC voltage they produce when you tap on the end of them. It is significantly less than that created by my good original knock sensor. I put the one good original knock sensor back on and no code for it but the new one did have the code within a day again. My conclusion is these sensors work but do not generate enough voltage to satisfy the computer so it causes fault codes (so essentially they don’t work). I also suspect these are not genuine AC delco parts even though they came packaged as such. I will be heading to my local parts store to order a genuine AC Delco replacement. Wasted my hard earned money here. I suggest everyone to avoid these.
