Three Plums in One
2 of 2 found this helpful I purchased this book because my Book Club decided to read Janet Evanovich's books. I had read One For the Money, Full Bloom and Full Scoop. I really liked them all. I knew that the rest of her books would have to be just as good.
For those who are unfamiliar with her books, there is the Stephanie Plum series that features Stephanie the bounty hunter and her adventures. Currently there are 12 books in the Plum series. There is the "Full" series that are centered around Jamie and Max Holt in the town of Beaumont, South Carolina. Each of these books have reoccuring characters, but each book features a new adventure for one of the citizens. I believe there are 6 in this series. These books are written with Charlotte Hughes and are rereleases.
I am not familiare with the Metro series, but from previous experience, I would say they would have to be good.
As I write this, I have purchased up to number 11 in the Plum series and am in hot pursuit of number 12. I also have acquired the 6 books in the Full series.

The Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle Treasury
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this book! This single volume contains 3 of the 4 Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books by author Betty MacDonald. For those unfamiliar with her, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle is able to cure children of all their childhood faults. For example. Mrs. P. taught Hubert Prentiss to pick up his toys. After Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle advises Mrs. Prentiss not to put away Hubert's toys he becomes trapped in his room. Hubert soon realizes if he wants to join Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and the rest of the children at the circus he will have to clean his way out of his room. As an elementary librarian, I begin my year by reading Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle stories with my second grade students. These stories make perfect bedtime reading, sending children off to sleep to dream happy dreams. Only down side is that this single volunme does not contain all four of the books in one.
