Necessary and redemptive; one of the greatest, most important books I've ever read.
2 of 2 found this helpful Mr. Wiesel survived atrocities too horrible for me to completely perceive. He speaks to the best in all of us to exemplify what the hell on earth he survived was like. He tells us with painful honesty and through his horrific memories about what happened between 1933 and 1945, when evildoers did inconceivable evil and most of the world stood by indifferently. It's possible to read Night in one sitting but when you get up to put the book away you will not be able to stop thinking about its author and his message. Instead you're likely to (and I hope you do) feel that everyone deserves respect and doesn't deserve to be demeaned let alone tortured and killed. This is true for all people; Mr. Wiesel himself spent his life teaching this. Antisemitism is unfortunately on the rise; one-third of Europeans haven't even heard of the Holocaust, which occurred during my own parents' lifetimes and they're still living.

Well worth the price.
A great collection spanning their whole career until 1991. The sound quality is quite good and the book has good photos and text. This one is well worth the price.
