Comfortable, Sturdy and Sharp

These are very sharp and capable scissors, made of a ferritic stainless steel so not completely rusttproof, but pretty close! Blades became loose after six months of use, but a few whacks with a ballpein hammer on the main rivet sorted that and they are good to go again. Have not needed to sharpen the blades yet either. There may be cheaper alternatives out there (think paramedic shears, very strong, very sharp and very cheap) but these are comfortable strong and sharp, ideal for repetitive work. I use mine for roughly chopping chicken carcasses for the WolfDogs

Get you out of (or into) trouble kit

Well... what to say.. yeeeeass its OK, the taps and dies are well made and surprisingly strong, i havent yet broken one. However, the taper taps are undersize and the mid / second taps are oversize. This can be a bit of a pain.. Its certainly a ''get you out of trouble kit'' having just about everything metric you are ever lightly to encounter, which makes it great if you never know what may come up next. However, if you DO know what's coming up next, then it may be better to purchase individual sets of quality hss
