Arnold Lobel Book
In my teaching career, Uncle Elephant has been the most versatile I Can Read book by my favorite children's author I've ever used. All of Lobel's books are perfect for Read Aloud or Echo Reading with children, especially the 4 to 7 years of age group. Acting out the short chapters, and discussing the story lines are entertaining and educational. Although Frog and Toad are Lobel's best known characters, Uncle Elephant is my favorite.

Perfect product for all my apple preserving techniques!
First, the not-so-handy review: the attached guard seemed like it was very much in-my-way. Perhaps your R&D department could design a dis-attachable guard.
Second, the Awesome: It's the 'apple-of-my-eye'. I truly love my 16-slice gadget! It's sharp enough to cut the apple easily, it's made so the slices slide right out and the corer is large, so there are no left over seeded things left to cut off the slices and tapered, so the core slides through without friction holding it. The slicer works on big and small apples. It's a definite time-saver. As I have five large, productive, apple trees, I can use any time-saving trick that comes my way. The slices are the perfect size for jarring, drying, freezing, and making into pie filling. I'm sure I'll use it for many years.
