This cover isn't universal as stated. It won't fit a GM Turbo 400 without modification to cut 1 1/2" off the left side for starter fit and new holes had to be drilled. With some cutting & fitting and drilling bolt holes I got it to fit a GM Turbo 400 I suspect also this cover is rated for a year of GM small block 350 or 305 had something to do with not fitting the GM small block 1989 350 in my truck. Buy this if you are ready to modify it to fit what you own because the bolt holes don't even fit

I order twice so no problems here. I have the winch working on front and back of my truck now. Good advice is to use a cutting torch to Soder the battery cables into the metal tube power connectors. best to rough up with sandpaper the inside metal tube battery cable connectors then use Soder acid, and I used the new tin tire weights to melt in the metal tube batter cable connectors with battery cables in the connector tubes for a secure positive connection
