the 12.3 MP and the 10 MB raw images are great for the detail they allow - and the fact thatr the VR lens gives 3 stops! For the $ this is the best camera on the market - I sold my D70s to upgrade and the difference in color saturation and clarity is unbelievable. Visit kenrockwell.com to check it out.
