Eufy baby camera and monitor: Camera works, monitor doesn't

Eufy camera and monitor arrived. No USB cable (seller warned, but it's still annoying) nor base to mount the camera. I put the monitor to charge for a full day when it arrived, and the monitor still can't hold a charge. Seems like the battery is dead. Luckily, the camera synced up easily with a monitor I already owned. Otherwise, I'd be returning the whole thing.
